Fashion Challenge Friday 5/8/09

Not sure if this counts for M3’s “Fashion Challenge Friday” but here it is:

I was running a little late for my dentist appointment so when it came time to change Emma’s clothes she did not want to wear any of the clothes I picked out for her. I didn’t want to upset her since I wasn’t in a mood to take a crying baby at the dentist so I quickly asked her “okay then, what do you want to wear?” her response “my pink princess dress!” I didn’t have time to convince her to wear something else but I did say “are you sure you want to wear this at the dentist?” and she screamed “Yes! I love my pink dress.” I quickly grabbed the dress and put it on her and off we went. I don’t mind taking her out like this, it isn’t the first time and believe it won’t be the last time.

Emma did extremely well sitting on her little chair, which she moved to the far corner. Most of the time she was singing or standing up from her seat just to say to me “good job Mommy!” I was very proud of her!!

In case you don’t know what princess she is, she is Ariel. Ariel from the Little Mermaid is her favorite princess.

She looks so sweet! My friend's daughter went through a phase of going everywhere in one of her many, many princess costumes, too.

I wonder how long before mine wants a princess costume herself...

Very sweet! I am sure being dressed as a princess makes her behave like one as well :-)
